Christopher Cummings (Chairman)
Chief Executive Officer
Marquette Group

Mr. Cummings has over 25 years of industry experience in National Yellow Page Programs. He currently is the CEO and equity owner of Marquette Group, an advertising agency in Peoria, IL specializing in National Yellow Page Programs. Mr. Cummings purchased Marquette Group, the fifth largest CMR in the industry, in 1996. In 2004, he also became CEO and equity owner of USMotivation, an incentive awards and event management company based in Atlanta, GA.

Prior to becoming Marquette Group’s CEO, he held the position of President of Berry Network at The Berry Company for eight years. He worked at The Berry Company for 17 years total, including his nine years as Division Manager.

Mr. Cummings received his bachelor’s degree from University of Colorado. He is a founding member of the Association of Directory Marketing (ADM) and served as Chair for six years. He is currently an ADM board member, as well as a Yellow Pages Association board member.

SCOTT W. KLEIN (Vice Chair)
Chief Executive Officer, SuperMedia

Scott W. Klein has been chief executive officer for SuperMedia and a member of the SuperMedia Board of Directors since June 2008. Klein previously served as an operating partner of Symphony Technology Group, a private investment firm, since November 1, 2007. From January 2004 to October 2007, Klein served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Information Resources, Inc., a provider of information solutions for the consumer packaged goods, retail, and healthcare industries.

Prior to joining Information Resources, Klein served as President, Consumer Industries, Retail & Energy Global Industry Group of Electronic Data Systems Corporation from July 2001 to January 2004.

Klein also held management positions with PC Mall, Inc., PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., Guardian Purchasing Corp., PepsiCo, Inc., and The Procter & Gamble Company earlier in his career.

Scott A. Pomeroy   (Secretary/Treasurer)
President and CEO, Local Insight Media

Scott A. Pomeroy is president and CEO of Local Insight Media, with overall responsibility for the company’s strategy, growth and value creation. In its first year of operation, Local Insight Media acquired four directory publishers, negotiated a definitive agreement to acquire the Hawaiian Telcom Yellow Pages and prepared to oversee operations for Windstream Yellow Pages under an agreement with its buyer Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe.  Now the fifth largest directory publisher in the U.S., Local Insight Media expects to have more than $400 million under its management by the end of 2007. 

Prior to joining Local Insight Media, Pomeroy was executive vice president and CFO for Dex Media, where he served in other key leadership positions, including senior vice president of finance and vice president/treasurer.  During his tenure, Pomeroy was instrumental in achieving a successful “carve-out” from Qwest and in raising more than $10 billion in debt financing and $1 billion in equity financing in a successful IPO. 

Over the course of his 23-year career, Pomeroy has held leadership positions in diverse industries, including chief financial officer for Eotec Capital and president and chief operating officer of Lewis Food Groups.  Pomeroy began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick.  He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of New Mexico and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).  A member of the Yellow Pages Association, Pomeroy is a frequent speaker and contributor at industry and financial conferences.  He resides in the Denver area with his wife and three daughters.

David Swanson (Director)

Dex One Corporation

David C. Swanson has been Chief Executive Officer of Dex One Corporation {formerly R.H. Donnelley} since May 2002. He was elected to the Board in December 2001 and served as Chairman from December 2002 to January 2006 and then was re-appointed Chairman once again in April 2006.

Swanson began working for R.H. Donnelley in 1985 as an Account Executive and has held increasingly senior management positions since. He was named Executive Vice President of Sales in 1995, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Proprietary Operations in 1997 and Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy in 1998 in conjunction with the company’s spin-off from Dun & Bradstreet as an independent public company. He became President of Donnelley Directory Services in 1999 and served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from December 2000 until May 2002.

Frank Jules ( Director)

AT&T Advertising and Publishing

Frank Jules is president and CEO of AT&T Advertising & Publishing. He is responsible for all functions of the $5.8 billion business — the largest print and online Yellow Pages operation in the world based on revenue.

The company provides a complete suite of print and online advertising search solutions that help small and medium businesses succeed. The AT&T Real Yellow Pages offers the most effective print yellow pages advertising in its markets. AT&T publishes more than 1,250 directory titles in 22 states with a distribution of about 171 million copies. And the directories are the most used in their markets, receiving about 4 billion annual references. In addition, the YELLOWPAGES.COM network provides advertisers with exposure to more than 1 billion annual consumer searches, offering consumers access to comprehensive local business information, city guides, maps and driving directions. Combined, AT&T’s print and online products receive more than 5 billion searches a year.

Before assuming his current position at AT&T Advertising & Publishing in September 2007, Jules was senior vice president for AT&T Global Business Solutions, responsible for three business units: Consulting, Integration Solutions and Equipment Solutions. His team focused on deploying new enabling technology to deliver unique network solutions for customers around the globe. Before that appointment, Jules was senior vice president for AT&T Business Marketing, responsible for creating and executing the go-to-market strategy for the business segment. Prior to that role, he was president of SBC’s Global & Enterprise Markets (East), responsible for SBC’s largest and most complex global customers, SBC Telecom and SBC’s federal government business segments.

Jules originally joined SBC with Ameritech in 1994 as vice president of sales and service for Ameritech Enhanced Business Services. He was appointed to several roles, including vice president of sales, service and field operations for Ameritech’s custom business unit; president of enhanced business services; and president of sales and channel management for Ameritech General Business Services. Jules was named president-sales for Ameritech Business Communications Services in October 1999 and was responsible for $5 billion in Ameritech/SBC revenue.

Jules also served as CEO of US LEC, a 14-state regional facilities-based telecommunications carrier in North Carolina. He helped the company navigate through significant industry challenges.   His experience also includes serving as vice president of marketing and product development for wireless products at Northern Telecom and holding several sales, management and marketing positions during 10 years at IBM. He started his career at New York Telephone in the sales and marketing organization.

Jules received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Iona Collegein 1978. He serves on the board of directors of CMGI Inc.

Edward E. Lane
President
RR Donnelley

Edward E. Lane is President of RR Donnelley’s Book and Directory Business, responsible for the marketing, sales, and manufacturing of the company’s book and directory printing operations.

Ed began his career with Donnelley in 1976 as a sales representative in the company’s Consumer Magazine printing business.  During his 15 years in the Consumer Magazine business, he served in New York City as Senior Vice President of Sales, Manufacturing Division Director of the Danville, Kentucky printing facility, and in 1991 was named President of the Magazine Business Unit.

In 1994 he established and was named President of Donnelley’s short run commercial printing business’ Specialized Publishing Services.  Through a series of acquisitions over the next 5 years this organization grew to be the largest business-to-business short run commercial printer in the United States.  In January of 2000 he was named President of the Book Business and in September of 2006 he was named President of the Book and Directory Business. 

Mr. Lane serves on the Board of Directors of the National Book Foundation and the Book Manufactures’ Institute.

He received a Masters degree in Business Administration from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College.

Marc Tellier (Director)

Marc P. Tellier is President and CEO of Yellow Pages Group, Canada’s largest directories publisher. He was previously President and CEO of Bell ActiMedia, a company acquired through the most important leveraged buyout in Canadian history. As head of Yellow Pages Group, Mr. Tellier completed the largest-ever initial public offering in the income trust sector in Canada.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Tellier was an officer of Bell Canada and served as Senior Vice President - Partnership Development. He was responsible for the launch of the first telco commercial high-speed Internet service in North America. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sympatico-Lycos, Canada's leading Internet properties.

Marc P. Tellier began his career at Bell Canada in 1990 after graduating from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. In less than a decade, he has become a key player in the expansion and transformation of the Canadian communications and media industries.

In 2000, Mr. Tellier was honoured for his leadership, vision, innovation, achievements and impact by being named one of Canada's Top Forty under Forty™. Mr. Tellier is a member of the board of directors of the Yellow Pages Association (YPA). He is president of the 2004-2005 Quebec Arthritis Society fund raising campaign for the small and medium-sized enterprises. He was also involved in the Banff Film Festival as a member of the Governor's Council and in United Way for the Greater Montreal Area.

Norm Hagarty (Director)

Norm brings an extensive background in marketing and advertising to DAC, having worked with some of the largest companies in North America such as Pepsi Cola, J. Walter Thompson, and Scott’s Hospitality. He became Managing Partner of DAC Group in January 2000 after joining in 1996 as President of DAC Canada. 

Norm has led DAC Group through a period of significant growth in both the print and digital sides of the business.  His vision of a unified directional agency, focused on helping clients build their business through lead generation in both the print and digital arenas, led to the expansion of value-added services and the development of proprietary tools for DAC Group.  His role modeling around passion, enthusiasm and curiosity has been instrumental in keeping the bar high in all facets of DAC’s business.

As a board member for ADM (The Association of Directory Marketing) and YPA (Yellow Pages Association) and key contributor to various initiatives in the industry, Norm is a strong representative for DAC’s clients within the Directional Market space.  He holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.  He is the proud father of 4 children and lives with his wife, Joyce, in Aurora, Ontario.  Norm is actively involved in his community and coaching amateur sports

Kathleen DeCaire-Aden (Director)

Kathleen DeCaire-Aden leads SMG Directory Marketing, helping brands leverage the power of print and online directory and search platforms. Kathleen's experience in managing and creating comprehensive, integrated and measurable solutions for clients is the driving force behind the agency's collaborative team of industry experts, focusing on research, data management, creative and interactive/search.

Kathleen is past chair of the AAAA's Telephone Advertising Committee, and spent two years as chair of the Association of Directory Marketing. She co-authored the 4As/ANA's 2002 revised position paper for syndicated third-party directory usage research, and an op/ed piece with the ANA on circulation auditing. Kathleen is a member of YPA’s National Marketing Division Advisory Council.

Kathleen earned a B.A in communications from Western Illinois University.

Joe Walsh (Director)

Joe Walsh is the President and CEO of Yellowbook. Under Joe's leadership, Yellowbook has grown from a small independent publisher in Long Island, New York to the leading independent publisher in the country, with approximately 1,000 directories in 48 states plus the District of Columbia.

Joe entered the yellow pages business in 1982 when he co-founded IYP Publishing, a company he later sold to DataNational. He served as Vice President of Sales for DataNational until joining Yellow Book in 1987. In 1992, Joe was named the company's CEO.

Credited with Yellowbook's unprecedented growth, Joe has led the company through a series of acquisitions and new market launches, as well as unprecedented print and online growth.

One of the most respected leaders in the industry, Joe has received numerous awards and has been interviewed by some of the country's top print and broadcast outlets. In 2008, the Association of Directory Publishers (ADP) presented Joe with The Wil Lewis Award, the association's highest distinction for outstanding lifetime contributions to the directory publishing industry. Joe was also awarded Ernst and Young's "Master Entrepreneur of the Year" award in New York, has been featured in Forbes Magazine's "Entrepreneurs - Up and Comers," as well as the front page of the Wall Street Journal in April of 2004, in an article titled, "Yellow Book USA Grabs Business from Baby Bells with Cheap Ads." He has also appeared on news programs such as CNBC and CNNfn.

Sharon Sweeney (Director)

Sharon Sweeney is Executive Vice-President of Nationwide Media based in Los Angeles, CA.   Nationwide Media is one of the top twelve agencies in the U.S. specializing in both print and online Yellow Pages, internet advertising, and direct delivery.

Ms. Sweeney has been in the industry over 29 years with national experience with agencies and Certified Marketing Representatives (CMRs).  Originally from Ohio and educated at the University of Houston, she began working at Ketchum Communications upon graduation.  She also worked with Bernard Hodes Telephone Marketing Services (Omnicom) prior to joining Nationwide over 20 years ago.

Over her 29 year career, Ms. Sweeney has served as an ADM Board member and treasurer.  She also has served on committee work from White Pages, operations to strategic planning within both YPA and ADM.

She also serves on the Advisory Council for the YPA National Marketing Division.
