Advertising Specifications

The Yellow Pages Association Advertising Specifications Manual contains an individual file for each member and non-member publishing company reflecting their graphic requirements. The graphic requirements shown reflect everything from Trademarks, Borders, Screens, Space Listings, Space Precedence, Coupons, Extra Lines, Electronic Graphic Requirements, Branded Tab, Internet and Promotional Specs.

The entire manual will be updated on a quarterly basis. PDF files will contain "changes only" which will appear in revision date order until the next quarterly manual is released.

This publication is produced to provide the proper address to send invoices or payments for national orders. This publication is updated on a monthly basis and appears only on our Web site. Contact Lists

The Publisher and CMR Contact List publications contain contact information for key personnel in both the Publisher and CMR offices, usually in the operations area. The publications are produced in an electronic format on a monthly basis and are posted to the Web site on the 15th of each month. Please submit your changes for the Publisher or CMR Contact List to Leslie Pravic at leslie.pravic@ypassociation.org no later than the first of each month to appear in the next available issue.

YPA Co-Op Advertising Products

YPA Co-Op  Advertising Programs Handbook
The Yellow Pages AssociationTM publishes a Co-Op Advertising Programs Handbook, that is available as a one-year subscription, providing you with spring and fall issues. This handbook will prove to be an invaluable resource for your Yellow Pages sales representatives as it contains over 1,000 manufacturers. This means over 1,400 brands of manufacturer products offer Co-Op funding for Yellow Pages advertisers. The member price for the handbook is $60 for a one year subscription.

YPA Co-Op  Electronic File
The information that appears in the Yellow Pages Association Co-Op Advertising Programs Handbook is also available in electronic format. This data can be purchased via an annual subscription at a price of $960 for members.  A six dollar per user fee also applies. Please contact Judy Mitchell-Shick at judy.mitchellshick@ypassociation.org to obtain a file layout, a copy of the user agreement, and order form.

Manufacturer Program Updates
The Yellow Pages Association produces monthly updates to the manufacturer programs that appear in the Yellow Pages Co-Op®  Advertising Programs handbook. If you purchase a one-year subscription to the handbook, you are entitled to one free copy of the monthly updates via email.

Other Ancillary Products
The Yellow Pages Association produces many other ancillary products to accompany the Yellow Pages Co-Op®  Advertising Programs Handbook. We also offer many Co-Op sales tools and training videos.

The Yellow Pages Association also offers various forms for the processing of national advertising orders. Order Processing and Procedures Manual

The National Order Processing and Procedures Manual is an in-depth reference manual that provides all information necessary to process advertising orders for the Publisher and CMR communities.  This manual is available for download here or a printed copy is available to members for $105, and to non-members for $210.

Telephone Directory Price Catalog

Telephone Directory Price Catalog

The annual Yellow Pages Association Telephone Directory Price Catalog contains a list of wholesale prices and ordering information needed to assist with the purchasing of actual telephone directories. The catalog is separated into four sections which contain the directories published in the United States, Canada and Internationally; a town cross-reference section, and Special Interest Directories.

It also contains the price, the publishing month, area codes covered by the directory, the six-digit directory code and the four-digit publisher code assigned to each directory by Yellow Pages Association.

White Pages Information Manual

The Yellow Pages Association White Pages Information Manual contains procedures to follow when making white pages listing requests and provides addresses for mailing WP-3235 forms to establish White Pages Listings. The first PDF file listed below contains the entire manual. The entire manual will be updated on a quarterly basis. The second set of PDF files contain changes only which will appear in revision date order until the next quarterly manual is released.
