 Ben Legg, Group COO

Ben Legg joined European
Directories as Group COO in November 2009. He is responsible for our
businesses in Poland, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well
as leading the group transformation into a multi-media sales
organisation. Prior to this Ben was COO of Google Europe, in which he
led various initiatives including monetisation strategy, business
development, advertising product development and the development of a
professional salesforce. Prior to Google he held senior sales and
marketing roles with Coca-Cola in Greece, Poland and
India. Ben started his career as a
British Army Officer serving all over the world, including operational
tours in Northern Ireland and Bosnia (during which he was involved in
relieving the siege of Sarajevo in 1995). In between the Army and
Coca-Cola, Ben also managed to squeeze in three years as a strategy
consultant at McKinsey.
